How Loaf Lover Was Born

Loaf Lover® was born thanks to a fussy eater and food intolerances in my family. I had one child who would only eat one type of bread, so I needed to freeze the loaf I had bought for him so it didn’t go to waste. Trying to separate frozen bread slices that had stuck together and still get everyone out of the house on time made for a very challenging morning.

I couldn’t believe an everyday staple was causing me such grief!

The next challenge we faced was a child with a gluten intolerance. He needed a different loaf of bread, and again, I had no desire to waste bread, time or money. Finally, when I was on maternity leave with my third baby, I created Loaf Lover®.

This was the perfect solution to keeping frozen bread slices separate and easily accessible, making breakfast and lunch boxes easy, quick and straightforward. It was also freezer friendly as the loaf reduces in size for storage as you use it, not like a plastic container.
